PPC legal notices and terms & conditions

The following constitutes the terms and conditions to which prospective student agree when registering for any PPC training courses or services (Terms and Conditions). Throughout the Terms and Conditions.  PPC reserves the right to review and update these periodically.

Registering for a Course

1. Registration with PPC (Signing up for a Course)

As part of your registration process for a training course, you will be required to provide certain information about yourself and/or your organization. In doing this, you agree to:

Provide true, accurate, current and complete information about yourself as prompted by the relevant registration form or inquiry. A background check may be conducted to confirm suitability.

2. Booking a training course

Training courses can be booked on the PPC website or via a form available through email.

When you register for a course, your submission represents an offer to PPC to enroll you into the course you selected. Upon submission of the training course form, you will receive an automated summary or email confirming your selection.

PPC will accept your registration by reserving you a place on the class roster and will send you an email confirming that you have been booked.

3. Prices, discounts and sales taxes

Notice of new pricing will be given in advance, but PPC reserves the right to change prices listed on its website without notice.

Discounts (off the course fee) or modified fees may be available for customized courses and groups with prior approval. The discount or modified fees applies to PPC courses only. The discount/ modified fees are not available in conjunction with any other offer and places are subject to availability.

If an agency hosts a training course with 12 or more paying students, up to two free slots can be awarded to the host agency. Slots are subject to availability. Awarding of free slots is up to PPC’s discretion.

4. Payment

Registration fees can be paid in the following manner:

Booking via our secure online payment process.
Calling in your credit card number to a company representative.
Delivering a certified check (needs prior approval from company representative)

As a general practice, we do not utilize invoices for payment. In special situations, we can invoice registration fees with prior approval. We cannot accept payment by installments.

All major credit and debit cards are accepted.  A receipt will be sent to you by email confirming payment. PPC will receive the information needed to verify and authorize your payment card and to process your order and is under strict legal and contractual obligations not to disclose this information to third parties.

Please note that if you do not provide accurate details (including type of card and number) or if your credit card company does not authorize payment, your registration will be deemed null and void. PPC will not accept any liability for costs incurred as a result of registrations deemed void in this manner.

Sales taxes are charged at the applicable rate depending on the course and/or customer.

5. Prevailing terms and conditions

Please note that this and all other PPC pre-contractual documentation shall not constitute an offer. All services provided by PPC are on the basis of these Terms and Conditions and if you wish to engage any PPC services we shall only provide them if you accept the Terms and Conditions. If you offer to engage PPC on your own terms and conditions then we shall only accept your offer subject to the Terms and Conditions, which shall, if we provide the services you offer to engage, prevail over any other terms and conditions.

Whilst we make every effort to keep changes to the website to a minimum, we reserve the right to make any amendments to the terms and conditions at any time to reflect changes affecting our business, including but not limited to, changes in technology, payment methods and legal and regulatory requirements. By continuing to use this site you agree to accept any changes made to the terms and conditions.

1.1 Ownership and intellectual property rights

All PPC materials, whether on the website or provided during training day(s), are owned by the PPC unless otherwise noted. All intellectual property rights in all materials available from PPC, including the design, graphics and text of all printed materials and the video, photos and/or audio of all training day(s), are owned by PPC. No Learning PPC content may be copied, reproduced, uploaded, posted, displayed or linked to in any way, in whole or in part, without PPC’s prior written permission. Any such use is strictly prohibited and will constitute an infringement of PPC’s intellectual property rights.

1.2 Special requirements at the face-to-face training course

PPC will make every effort to accommodate special requirements that have been notified in advance on the registration form or through email.

1.3 Health and safety at the face-to-face training course

You must comply with all health and safety rules and regulations and any other reasonable security requirements that apply at the premises at which the training courses are provided.

1.4 Invitation letters

Should a student require an invitation letter from PPC, we are able to provide this as long as full payment of the training course fee has been received. PPC is not able to act on behalf of the participant and is not responsible for any costs incurred by failure to attend on the student’s part.

1.5 Behavior

PPC reserves the right to remove from a training course any student(s) whose behavior is deemed inappropriate by PPC or its trainers. In these circumstances, PPC will neither refund any fees nor reimburse any other costs.

1.6 Trainers

PPC shall provide such trainers to present the training course as it, in its sole discretion, deems fit and PPC shall be entitled at any time to substitute any trainer with any other person who, in PPC sole discretion, deems suitably qualified to present the course.

1.7 Liability

PPC does not accept responsibility for anyone acting as a result of information of any sort presented during its training courses, including course materials. Opinions expressed are those of individual trainers and not necessarily those of PPC. Participants should take professional advice when dealing with specific situations.

2. Technology

PPC does not warrant that the provision of any content online will be available indefinitely or be uninterrupted, timely or error free, that defects will be corrected or that such content is secure or free from bugs, viruses, errors and omissions.

3. Cancellation

1. Cancellation of a training course

Notice of a training candidate’s intent to cancel a registration must be made in writing to PPC and is subject to the following terms:

Students whose cancellation request is received within 30 days prior to the start date of the training activity will incur an administration fee equal to 50% of the obligated course fee.

Students whose cancellation request is received within 21 days prior to the start date or after the commencement of the training activity will incur an administration fee equal to 100% of the obligated fee.

2. Transferring your place on a training course

One substitute is permitted per registrant for the entire training course. Daily substitutions are not permitted. PPC must be notified prior to 30 days before the start date of the course when a substitution will occur. PPC will also allow the registration fee to be applied to a different PPC sponsored course. This request must be made in writing, subject to approval by PPC, and can be used during a period of time not to exceed 12 months from the original course registration.

3. Cancellation by PPC

PPC reserves the right to cancel courses, change course location, change instructors, or change course content. In the event a course must be canceled or the location of the course changed, students will be informed at least 14 days prior to the start of the course.

4. Purchase of airline tickets and cancellation

Please do not purchase non-refundable airline tickets more than 14 days before the course. Should a course require cancellation or change in location, PPC is not responsible for non-refundable airline tickets.  If a course is cancelled by PPC solely, then the student will receive full reimbursement for registration fees for the course.
